This splendid, succinctly written, and heartfelt book by Ken Dawson explains first of all that Kairos is a Greek word meaning "God's Special Time." In the case of Dawson and his wife Anne, special times have been going on for decades counseling prisoners. The dramatic vignettes tell of visits to prisoners, some on death row. If those accounts weren't tough enough, it turns out that those who really needed God's love were the Dawsons themselves as they lived through the ups and downs of their son's (Josh) long battle with cancer. That fight did not end the way the Dawsons wanted, but from it they found new strength. This is a moving and powerful book and I highly recommend it.Product details

Ken has written a very informative and special book here. I highly encourage reading it if you have been on a team for years or you are curious about the ministry. I received this book as a gift from my parents because they know how much the Kairos ministry means to me.
Ken's stories inform and touch you. They are real and we see miracles like the ones he covers every timey team goes inside.
It is a quick read. But it is full of facts. Plan to read it in one sitting to get the most from it.
